The Book is here.
The official launch of "The Courage to Speak Your Truth" was an incredible success. It created an atmosphere filled with love, learning, and compassion, qualities necessary for truly hearing each other’s stories.
Many have asked whether this writing journey has served as a healing experience for me. I’m often taken aback by the question; while it has indeed been healing, I had already engaged in the necessary conversations with myself and others prior to compiling this book.
This timing is essential.
The profound impact of this book lies not in my narrative but in its focus on how storytelling and conversation can forge connections and transform the shame that often invades our lives. Recognising that we shouldn’t compare the healed with the still healing is vital.
I openly share my imperfect journey toward healing because it was, indeed, a process filled with challenges.
As I crafted each story, I continuously assessed: Does this serve the reader?
This book is dedicated to adult survivors of childhood trauma and to the families and friends who support them, often feeling lost in their desire to help. It is also for parents seeking guidance on communicating with their children and ensuring their safety.
There are still tickets to see my talk, which is where the book idea originated
